Dr. Priscilla Cheung graduated from Bowdoin College with a B.A. in Psychology and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Boston University, where she worked extensively researching and treating children and adolescents with anxiety and depression at both the Family and Development Treatment Lab and the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD). She completed her predoctoral psychology internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System at the Center for Returning Veterans, specializing in working with recently returned veterans with anxiety and adjustment to civilian life. Dr. Cheung completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School with a specialization in pediatric behavioral medicine. 

Dr. Cheung was previously a Staff Psychologist at the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program (MAMP), an intensive outpatient program at McLean Hospital, where she also held an appointment as an Instructor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, she was at Emerson College’s Counseling and Psychological Services for over four years first as a Staff Psychologist and then as the Assistant Director. 

She currently holds an appointment at Boston University as Visiting Researcher in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and is a supervising clinical psychologist at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD). Dr. Cheung is the author and co-author of multiple journal articles and book chapters on the treatment of anxiety disorders and depression and has been the recipient of awards from various organizations including the Alies Muskin Career Development Leadership Program from the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA).
