Individual Teletherapy

Dr. Priscilla Cheung is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD, and related disorders in adolescents, college students, and adults. Dr. Cheung also works with clients looking to effectively navigate and cope with current life stressors (e.g., adjustment to college, identity development, work challenges, interpersonal relationships, major life transitions, career related concerns, and college mental health). She uses a collaborative, personalized, and warm approach, working with clients to better understand their anxieties or challenges and encouraging them to become their own therapists over time while achieving their goals.

Dr. Cheung utilizes evidenced-based techniques in her work with clients, and primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) perspective. By emphasizing the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors clients will gain greater insight into their concerns and learn techniques for managing their anxiety and other life stressors. To target the behavioral aspects of anxiety, Dr. Cheung will frequently incorporate exposure and response prevention (ERP) into her work to help clients to engage in exposures both during sessions and in real-world settings.
